Your lack of awareness concerning the political philosophies in US politics is nothing short of astounding. I can only believe that is the reason you continue the, at best, juvenile practice of encouraging divisiveness. A practice which can only be harmful to this nation.

Since you obviously haven't read much let me explain a few things to you. As a liberal I believe our government has no business in our bedrooms, that the government has no business in our churches (if a church is willing to marry a gay couple it is their business), that the government has no business reading my mail, that a major fortune would better be spent on combatting popverty in this nation and abroad rather than on a questionable war, and that the government owes it to its citizens to place health above corporate profits. Any nation is as strong as it's weakest members.

If, in your terribly uneducated eyes, that links me to Chavez then so be it.

I consider myself somewhat liberal and I don't think this is good news at all. Hugo Chavez is a bit of nut case, IMHO, and he is deliberately trying to suppress the opposition - he failed to renew the broadcasting license of a TV station that opposed him. As far as I'm concerned, he's another despot in the making.

Yup, they love Chavez and his socialistic views....that's where they wanna take this country. Make everybody work for the good of those who don't want to. Give everything to people at the cost of the tax payer.

I bet Cindy Sheehan is celebrating. Maybe even flying over again to "congratulate" him in person. (wink)

Liberals are ecstatic about Chavez winning again. They hope he can carry his socialist political agenda here to America.

Liberals are the greatest single threat to American democracy.
