I am 33 weeks pregnant and I heard that in the next couple of weeks I might lose my mucus plug. this is my 1st pregnancy so I was just wondering if it hurt when the plug comes out.

it doesn't hurt- chances are you won't notice it unless you look at the toilette paper when you wipe- or you'll feel it when you wipe- it will feel like someone spilled a bottle of lube down there! haha. Usually you don't lose it until your cervix starts to dialte- so the actual losing the mucus plug doesn't hurt- but you could have some BH contractions awhile before it happens. With my first pregnancy I never noticed the contractions and lost my plug all at once. However with this one- i notice I will have BH at night and then when i wake up the next morning i will have lost some of my plug. I wish this one would just fall out as one big 'blob'- like Memphis Kitten- i didn't think it was gross- it was cool to 'play with' and I sat there for a good 15 minutes inspecting it! haha.

No, it does not injury. It additionally can come out at as quickly as or in small products. And, like your mom, many women folk human beings do on no account see it. With my first being pregnant I lost the full factor at 36 weeks. With my 2d I had a scheduled c-section and not in any respect even observed it.

No it doesnt hurt. It looks just like your having your period.It's nobig deal, your body is preparing itself for labor. When you loose it make sure you call your dr. Good luck!!! Wish you and your baby the best.

Not at all. In fact it may come all at once or it may come in bits and pieces to where you don't even realize you've lost it.

No..you may not even ever see it esp. if you use the bathroom at night with the lights off.

no it does not hurt. just be sure to look in the toilet before you flush to see if you have lost it. i know yuck but you have to do what you have to do .
