What was the cause for divorce and what age were you when you said "I do."

Twice.
I was 22 and pregnant the 1st time. He had real anger control issues and I was worried he would hurt me, or our daughter. I divorced him with she was 2 and I was 24.
I remarried when I was 28, and will be married 6 years this year.

Twice...
The first one I found out he was doing drugs. He never brought a pay check home it was always spent before he came home. I married him when I was 20 years old. We divorced in 2000.
The second one was never there for us. He would wake up every morning at 4:00 to go hunting or fishing and wouldn't come home until after 9:00 at night. He is very obsessed with hunting and fishing. And when he was home all he does is b@#ch! I married him when I was 25 years old. We divorced June of 2006. Everyone that knows my ex says Tennessee is know for it's whiskey - Jack Daniels and Mississippi is known for it's wine - my ex. haha.

My uncle always told me get married young so you can get it over with and enjoy the rest of your life. This was good advice and worked well for my brother who was married and divorced before 25. I chose to skip the marriage step altogether and just enjoy my life.
Everytime I have a conversation with my married with kids friends I thank god I'm single: and I'm an atheist.
