Platonic love is amazingly lots a factor of any close friendship. yet this manner of love does not constantly stay platonic. each so often it turns into passionate love. Crossing that line, between friendship and love, could be the two eye-catching and fairly confusing.

Love is the object of attachment, devotion, and admiration for people, places and things, and friendship is the state of being friendly and devoting yourself to love and protect another living being with a special bond.
The difference is that it is possible to love someone without friendship, but impossible to have friendship without love.

I remember a scene in a movie when a young guy was
telling the father of his girlfriend that he loved his daughter
and wanted to marry her. The father said that he didn't care
if he loved her, he wanted to know if he liked her because
love for a person may dull or die but if you like the person
you can again love them. Anyway that's the meaning I got out
of it.
To me, friendship is being happy to see the other person, say,
once a week and being happy with that.
To me, love is wanting to see and be with the other person
each and everyday.

Love is a path you travel with a sincere person to whom you can give your soul but friendship is the half path of love. If you share more than friendship to someone means you Love him.

It is a FINE line--because when you have a friend that you care allot about and would help in any given situation you in fact hold some form of love for them--You are not in love with them as you would be for say your spouse--but there is love--that is what causes you to remember them and honor them on say their birthday or other special days --Persons you have known for along time you cant imagine life without them--even tho they aren't family some would consider them so--then on the other hand your spouse should be your best friend--and you certainly do love them and are IN love with them--so see a fine line :-) Have a good week Hope I was of some help

Aside from the obvious friends are private in using bathrooms, lovers tend to leave the doors open when in the bathroom...hearing and smelling everything that goes on in there. Friends eat on different plates unless the meal is intended for sharing. lovers share there food as well utensils. those are some examples, i would give more but im at work

Friendship doesn't involve sex. You can love your friends. You can be in love with your best friend. Friendship is loving someone but not being sexually intimate with that person.

Friendship is a kind of love, usually platonic but it certainly doesn't have to be.
I guess it is easiest to say that friendship falls under the umbrella of "love".
That's why people say, "I love you like a friend."

When your in love with someone things become more..........personal. When you are walking together, your hands fall into eachothers... When you are alone, you feel drawn to their eyes and you have those moments that just scream "Kiss Me" .
But one of the biggest differences is that you know it in your heart. If you are in love, you'll know it, and just the fact that you are asking this question means that you think you love someone but are just unsure.
Question: Is the person always or almost always in your head?
Question: Do you get little warm spots where his fingers were?
