Well, suppose I have a link, like, perhaps http://answers.yahoo.com/question/;_ylt=Agu4A2TOyVFMZ.BCtBoD5fvzy6IX?link=ask&menu=396546
Now, I see in some places, some people copy the link and type 'here'
and if we click on that, goes straight to the link. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Of course I won't forget the ten points.

At the top of the IE page, at the address bar. You left click on the address in the address bar. Then right click on it again, and select "copy".

And put that link where ever you want it, by then hovering your arrow key where you wish the link to be, and right click and hit "paste".

That makes it a straight link that is completely workable, unless that site closes the link for some reason.

Hope this helps.

when you type your link, eg www.yahoo.com in a word document it appears as a hyperlink once you press the spacebar to go to the next word. That's the blue writing with the underline under it. Next right click on the hyperlink and go to 'edit hyperlink'. In the box that opens up the top they have 'Text to display' in the box next to it type 'here'. Click 'OK' and where www.yahoo.com was will be a hyperlink saying 'here'.
Follow the instructions and best of luck.

I'm pretty sure they are using HTML code.

Here is how you do it: type in < a h r e f src = "http://www.website name.com" > here.

But of course you would get rid of all the uneccesary spaces that I put in.

You just did do it, genius. Highlight whatever you're trying to copy, right click and scroll down to "copy," click "copy," then click on whatever your trying to paste it to and right click, scroll down and click "paste!"
