I love her dearly and can't stand the idea of life without her, she has apologized and said she will never speak to him again, I have never been in this situation and could use some direction....Thanks ahead of time.

I would only forgive her if she gives you full disclosure...shows you any emails, phone records...she must now live a transparent life to you if you are ever to trust her again.

I hate to admit this, but i was in the same situation 3 yrs ago & i swore the same thing. The net is addictive and she seems to be missing something in her life that she feels u cant give her. I started out just needing ppl to talk to. Then the flirting began, my hubby read 1 i hadnt deleted & i promised i wouldnt do it again. I just learned to hide it better. i ended up bein a fool & leaving him for this guy on here. like u he loved me so much he begged me to come back & i did. I really do love him I just needed him to be my friend as well as my lover. Talk to her find out what shes getting here that ur not providing. Let me also point out in her defence that there are men on here who are just nice guys and dont try to get u to do wrong. Alot of them just need someone to talk to just like you & I do? my advice is talk to her see why she fels the need to be here. after all YOUR on here aren't you hun.

If she says she will never speak to him again and doesn't there shouldn't be any problems. Although if you are still haviong trust issues with this you may need to sit down and talk things out, find out why she needed to "talk" to someone other than you. If necessary seek marriage counseling.

Well first of all have they ever met? If not then its just a cyber thing and you could probably forgive her if she really dosnt talk to him anymore...If however she has met him then I dont know cuz its one thing to just talk to a person that you havent seen because it takes longer for real feelings to develop and its another to actually have met him
I say forgive her on a trial basis and if she messes it up then you know...cheating is cheating you dont have to have sex to cheat...she cheating on you emotionally

Well like others said before me, get her to show you her messeges to him. If there's nothing going on, she'll show you. But, i wouldn't go so far as to make her stop talking to him. Whether any of us like it or not, our girlfriends are going to have friends that are male. And vice versa. Again, so long as they never have met or never will me, don't restrict her. You don't wanna look or feel controlling.
