If you feel that badly about your body, do something about it. You don't have to stay in the shape you are in. Get some will power and go for it!

If you are not happy with yourself then do something about it! Cut down on the crap food, exercise a little and before you know it, you'll be cruising a long! Taking the first step is the hardest: cut down on sugar, and fats. eat plenty of fresh fruit and vege and meat. Nuts and fish are good too. Introduce some exercise: I walk 3 times a week for an hour at a time. Some light exercises (maybe join a gym) will help too. You need cardio workout at least 3 times a week (that's the walking) and you need to get your heart rate between 125 - 135 beats per minute. Include some weights and a healthy diet, and you'll be amazed how quick the weight will drop off.

i looked a sight after my second child, but I decided to do something about it!

GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES!

You getting in shape is not going to happen just because you want it to; you have to be proactive about it. It will not be easy but one step at a time goes a far way. You do not need to change all your habits all at once, or you will be setting yourself up to crash. Start with the simple things first like walking more, take the stairs instead of the elevator, park the car at the farthest parking then walk the rest of the way and so on.

Make the changes gradually, as you get use to one thing incorporate another and before you know it you will have healthier habits and the pounds will be disappearing.

Don't be depressed ! Take Positive action!!

The great thing about this is, you have complete control over this! First, stop thinking you are disgusting! A few battle scars just makes you a real person , who has created 2 amazing little people .

You can be who you want to be ! Set goals and start working for them, while you are working on your goals, go to the store and buy something that makes you feel great, could be anything !

Stay positive, create a plan to get yourself where you will be happy with you , and stick to it! Life is to short and precious to put up with things and be unhappy.

You really can do anything you put your mind too, its a powerful thing!

Self image is definitely a matter with which we must contend. You can get a little more exercise and work on those problem areas; but some of the somatic aspects of having children will remain despite intensive attempts to resolve them.

You have to get yourself to a place which is acceptable to you. Also, try not to allow your perceptions to drive a wedge between you and your significant other -- because it can.

The problems with self image are inversely proportional to the steps taken to improve ourselves. A little exercise, good nutrition, and proper hydration with pure water will go far in that regard.

You are not alone and the first step towards eliminating any problem is the acknowledgment that it exists.

Start walking, work to jogging, eat right, drink right, stay on a regiment. Drink water, cranberry juice, or any juices, eat lean proteins, and minimize carbs (just slow them down don't cut them out), and lastly just reduce what you intake and spread it out over the day. It is hard to make time for you to do this with 2 kids and work, but if you really are serious then you can do it. Keep a positive attitude and get the kids involved if you can't make time to do it. Good luck.

Now that you have comes to terms with this, what are you going to do? You are in control. My wife felt the same way after kids. I love her the way she is. She was over weight and drooping so she came to terms with and started eating properly and I did as well to support her, the kids and their food and we ate ours. She also started working out and doing weights. She lost 50 lbs. and has her confidence back and is doing much better. Don't procrastinate, commit to action. Be good to you!

I felt the same way after having my twins but then I discovered The South Beach Diet. I felt so much better and sexier after losing 35 lbs. It is pretty easy after you get through the first two weeks.
