The lady I have spoken to says this can be traumtic and very painful. Like a miscarriage. Is it better to go the surgical route or punish yourself and take the risk of hemorraging? I have experienced miscarriage and not sure I want to experience it again at age 38. NO judgements PLEASE! Only honest advice is needed.
PS. This issue has been thoroughly discussed and thought through by my partner and I for those of you who remember me. And thanks everyone for your support!

I haven't, but there are some stories from women who had chemical abortions on these pages:

As you probably know, non-surgical abortion involves the use of two chemicals. The first chemical affects your body's production of a hormone needed to maintain the lining of your womb. As the lining of your womb breaks down, your baby's nourishment is cut off and he or she starves to death. A second chemical is given to cause contractions, which push your baby out of your body. This process is very painful and takes an average of nine days. Bleeding is excessive. Sometimes the abortion is "incomplete," meaning that parts of the baby are left inside the womb, where they can rot and cause life-threatening infections. This is what killed 18-year-old Holly Patterson in California a few years ago. At least 11 women have died so far after chemically aborting. Here are the details (the first article is more detailed and lists sources, but is a PDF file):

http://www.lifeissues.org/ru486/deaths.htm

Surgical abortions carry risk as well (some of the risks listed apply to both chemical and surgical abortions):

http://www.abortionfacts.com/reardon/effect_of_abortion.asp
http://www.lifedynamics.com/Pro-life_Group/Pro-choice_Women
http://www.afterabortion.info/news/abortiondeaths.html

You asked for "no judgements," but want "honest advice." Honesty sometimes involves "judging." For example, if you saw your neighbor beating his son to death with a pipe, would you "judge" that what he was doing was wrong and run outside and speak honestly to him about it? I hope so! Since you asked for advice, I will give it. Whatever the circumstances of your life, they are not your baby's fault. You seem very concerned about "punishing" yourself, but what has the baby done to deserve this punishment? Your child deserves to live, and I think in your heart you know that.

It's really not that bad. You take your first dose in the dr office. Then they tell you when to take the next pill which you take at home. You cramp for a little while and bleed heavy with clots but it is over pretty quickly. It is not an easy decision to make. Any abortion is traumatic. Good luck.
**Also, people keep thinking this is the morning after pill-it's not. The abortion pill is a series of pills taken to end a pregnancy. The morning after pill is used to try and prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex.

Are you talking about the morning after pill? If so, all that is is a strong dose of regular birth control (you can get the same effect by taking three BC pills the next day). This leads to cramping, nausea, and tenderness of the breasts, but nothing terrible.

People that consider a character has the option of getting an abortion are professional option. People that experience one are professional-abortion. There is a change. However, watching on the argument from the opposite aspect, all people that that's anti demise penalty have a tendency to seem on the professional demise penalty aspect as professional demise, despite the fact that we do not do the exact killing. Yes? To me the demise penalty is professional option additionally. You selected to kill anybody in a demise penalty state, you select to die.
