KUDOS TO YOU FOR RECOGNIZING AND ACCEPTING THIS FACT! I tried to post something like, "Why do we allow people to run for public office who could not even pass a security, finger print background check to be a teacher or even a bus driver?"

People kept answering that the facts are brought out by their opponent. That may be true but people never believe the opponents and blame the opponents for mud slinging.

In my opinion, a security, background check should be run on every single person attempting to run for office. I'm tired of convicted felons being elected to office! It happens all the time. Sometimes the public knows it, and sometimes they do not. Sometimes even the opponents don't know until after they are elected. We have crooks and seriously dishonest people running the USA! IT HAS TO STOP!

I don't know which president you are refering to but I'll bet there is more than one and I would absolutely bet the GWB is one of them!

What can we do about it?
