Truthfully, I want something very easy and transferable. Sometimes I want to use my iPod on my surround sound, and other times it might be one of my two computers. I'm just looking for a wireless hookup between the surround sound's RCA cables (or any of the other many types of inputs) and the outgoing headphone jack on my iPod or computers. Any suggestions, including whether the technology is any good.

I should probably mention that I live in NYC, so FM transmittors usually don't work well because of the many radio stations.

Sorry, but I need more information. I don't really understand what you mean about a 5 into 1 usb. Plus, is this something that is wireless and easily transferable from PC to iPod to Laptop so that I can switch what plays on the Surround Sound Sys?

You can't get true 5.1 sound from an i-pod as it's output is stereo. If you can possibly shied your room from the radio waves there is no other way that I know that you can do it wirelessly. It's never as clear as direct feed. I have a few RCA's and fed throughout my house under the floorboards (one is in my coffee table) so I plug in my mp3 and PC there.

The Alienware is larger once you evaluate the specs and Alienware's high quality of construct will be better eventhough Dell took over Alienware. you'd be overpaying for the Alienware although, with information from round three hundred-500$ the HP is larger cost however the Alienware is larger high quality and has Gaming attractiveness both computers can play maximum video games you throw at it, in case you want cost get the HP and in case you want high quality and the actual incontrovertible fact that you own an alienware then get the Alienware
