I want to be able to have a printed copy of the text messages for ease of reference and to show sequence of events

try calling ur phone company. they might keep those records

I doubt if your service provider will be helpful on this one. The reason is it is extremely cumbersome.

At most, you can get is the number of messages sent and the numbers to which they are sent. If I remember correctly, I read sometime back that Intelligence Agencies are devising ways to keep a tab on terrorism through text messages. It is very difficult and expensive to maintain each and every text message. So I think you wont get what you are looking for.

You used to be able to get this info a few years ago with a police warrent, but no longer. At best, you'll get the numbers that you received messages from, but not the actual messages.

Its not stored by mobile networks as they dont need it they keep the data ie size number it was from etc, but no content as its not needed for billing purposes. So if there not on your phone your not getting them im afraid
