He is my favorite singer, even though I was only 8 when he died.Jim Croce would have turned 64 today,Jan.10,2007,had it not been for the tragic plane crash in '73.
Happy Birthday wishes sent to Rock-n-Roll Heaven...

Operator!! Sure Jim Croce had alot of Beautiful Songs I did like and still do and he could tell a story in a Great Way. I heard Operator on the Radio 3 years before I found out who Jim Croce was! He put this song out with others but did not do so well until he released, Bad Bad Leroy Brown. Then one night watching T.V. I saw this Guy, Jim Croce come on and Sing Bad Bad Leroy Brown. So I said, ok, now I see who does that song, that is good. Then right after he finished Bad Bad Leroy Brown, he sang, OPERATOR!! So, after all this time I did finally find out who sang that song! That is why Operator is my favorite! I liked him long before I found out who he was or before he really made it!! I just wished he had not left so early. We could sure use his way with words now!!

I've got his GREATEST HITS & love them all but if I had to pick
it'd be TIME IN A BOTTLE.
I watched his life story a few years back & it was really sad.
Man, he got shafted on the money deal for all of his work.
That was pitiful! :o(
BAD, BAD LEROY BROWN
OPERATOR (That's Not the Way It Feels)
ONE LESS SET OF FOOTSTEPS
Oh, my God, they're ALL good!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM CROCE RIP!
