You need to wait at LEAST 10 days after ovulation to give the egg a chance to implant into the uterus (if you are pregnant). Once, and if this has happened, then your body will produce and release the hormone that is tested in the home pregnancy kits.
So until then, you will be too early to test.
If you are charting, your temp will be a clear indicator that you would be pregnant if you had 18 + days of high temps after ovulation and of course the missed period is also a good sign.
All the best, read up from a book : "Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. Best information a woman can learn about her body is all right there. I HIGHLY recommend it, worth every penny.

It's waaaaay to early to test yet. You'll have to be patient and wait until at least the day of your expected period to try and even then don't be surprised if you get a negative even if you are pregnant. The issue is not if you are producing the hormone, the issue is that so early on you're just not producing enough to get a positive result. Yes there are tests that advertise earlier results, but they'll also tell you that the test accuracy decreases for every day prior your expected period - down to about 50% accuracy at 4 days before the start of your period.

You are still to early to test. You have to wait til your period is due. You can test maybe a few days ahead with a special test kit. Good luck and hang in there til your period is due!

I think that I would wait a couple days. But, depending on the test that you use...look very close, my husband could see a very faint pink line when I took one a couple years ago, I thought it was neg. too. If you read the test box, it should state when it is a good time to take their test.

Theoretically yes. Why do you want to give so much money to the companies that make the test kits. What would change if you knew a few days earlier? Do all the right things, eat right, etc. and be happy.

Can't do it yet.... Gotta wait about a week before your period to get a more accurate answer. Unless you want to pay for a blood test, then you can find out right now...

Good Luck!
