Let me tell you truth about Masturbation, read it.
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Masturbation — touching one's own sex organs for pleasure — is not bad for you. Got that? I'm not just saying that you shouldn't feel guilty about it because it is normal. I'm saying that it offers a number of health benefits. You've probably heard all sorts of myths about masturbation. For instance, masturbating will cause you to go blind, go insane, or grow hair on your palms. Maybe you've heard other falsehoods such as the only people who masturbate are those who are desperate for sex or can't "get any," sex with a partner.
Not a single one of those notions is true. Do you want to know why? Simple math answers this question. Most people masturbate. And if the myths were true, it would mean that most people are insane, blind, hairy-palmed, and desperate!
I'll say it again. Most people masturbate. It doesn't matter who people are, what they do, or what they say, chances are they masturbate. In fact, many people masturbate throughout their lives regardless of whether they have a sexual partner or not. People may masturbate alone or with a partner. Watching a partner masturbate can be a good way to see how she or he likes to be touched.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of guilt and shame surrounding masturbation. Self-pleasuring has had a bad reputation for centuries. Thankfully, medical authorities have given up on the idea that masturbation causes illness or insanity. In fact, most experts agree that children should be taught that there is nothing wrong with touching their genitals as long as it is done in private.
I masturbate every day — is that too much?
There isn't any set amount of time per day, week, or month that would constitute as masturbating too much. Some people masturbate a few times every day while others do it twice a month. Some people don't masturbate at all. Every person is different. Masturbating can become a problem only if it starts to interfere with the rest of a person's life. For example, if a person starts skipping out of school so she or he can stay home and masturbate, then masturbating may be disrupting other parts of her or his life. Otherwise, relax — there is no need to worry about masturbating "too much."
Why do people masturbate?
The number one reason why people masturbate is because it feels good. Period.
So, what health benefits does masturbation offer?
Masturbation can:
help reduce stress
release sexual tension
alleviate menstrual cramps
work wonders when a person is having trouble falling asleep
stimulate the immune system to help build up resistance to infections like the common cold
release mood-elevating hormones that help ward off depression
reduce embarrassing spontaneous erections for teen guys
reduce the number of unwanted wet dreams
And — this is a great thing — masturbation, unlike most other forms of sexplay, has no risk of pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection.
Masturbation also helps people be in control of their own sexual needs. By exploring our own bodies visually and by touch, we can learn more about ourselves and what feels good to us sexually. If we don't know what makes us feel good, how can we communicate to a partner what makes us feel good? In fact, it is likely that most people learn to have their first orgasms through masturbating.
So remember, the truth is that masturbating is an important way in which people can feel better and take care of their sexual health.

First..these "things" you have been told are just a giant heap of bull***.
Stuff like that is normally spouted by those with an extreme religious motive behind them in order to try and make you feel guilty. Any qualified doctor will tell you that there is absolutely no medical proof or link whatsoever. But , hey, I guess some people try to claim that breathing is harmful on the grounds that everyone eventually dies, too..
The ONLY physical harm you could possibly do to yourself by jacking so much is to rub yourself raw..in which case it'll be too sore to touch anyway till it heals up. Mentally..well if you use a lot of porn, I guess that might effect the way you view and treat women, so its essential you undertand the big difference between fantasy and reality. For 99% of guys thats not a problem, which is why the porn business just keeps on making money.
If you just want to cut down because you feel its taking the place of a proper relationship with a real woman, or effecting your life because its all you ever do ( and I kinda guess thats the real question here) then the only solution is good old will power. And get out and meet more actual girls..you wont score with all of them, but you'll feel better about yourself. A good sex life is a lot to do with how you ( and your partner) are feeling mentally..its not all just physical.

as far as I know, masturbation has no bad physical side effects (some studies have even suggested that regular ejaculations lower the risk of prostate cancer).
of course if it becomes your main sex act and you do it so often you will:
- feel generally tired, which will negatively influence your work, social life
- be so disinterested in women, that you won't meet any
so i'd be more worried about adverse psychological side-effects, you turning into some kind of maniac interacting only with yourself.
as for reducing it, just wait. The day you have a girl in your life, or the day you are 45, you'll masturbate less / not at all! ;-)

There is no such thing as "over masturbating" if you body can handle it, and no damage is caused, (skin damage, bruising, blisters, raw skin) then do what you feel. If you have no complications, and it is not affecting your life in a way other than "I think I do it too much" then it should not be a problem. Social pressure and the wrath of god are not reasons to stop. There is no medical proof that it causes tumors,or prostate cancer. Jack away and enjoy!

The best thing to do is to keep the mind busy with something else. Chances are that you have too many stimulus around, and that induces you to masturbate, which is now a routine. Over-masturbation might or might not reduce one's future sex-life, depending on many other factors, but still takes alot of energy and indeed gets you to lose interest in women. One of the positive factors of reducing the amound of times that you masturbate is more energy, and you'll feel more aggressive. One of the positive factors of masturbating is that chances are you won't have premature ejacutalion, but you'll get used so much, that during intercourse you won't reach an orgasm.

Why Do People Masturbate?
In addition to feeling good, masturbation is a good way of relieving the sexual tension that can build up over time, especially for people without partners or whose partners are not willing or available for sex. Masturbation also is a safe sexual alternative for people who wish to avoid pregnancy and the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases. It also is necessary when a man must give a semen sample for infertility testing or for sperm donation. When sexual dysfunction is present in an adult, masturbation may be prescribed by a sex therapist to allow a person to experience an orgasm (often in women) or to delay its arrival (often in men).
Is Masturbation Normal?
While it once was regarded as a perversion and a sign of a mental problem, masturbation now is regarded as a normal, healthy sexual activity that is pleasant, fulfilling, acceptable and safe. It is a good way to experience sexual pleasure and can be done throughout life.
Masturbation is only considered a problem when it inhibits sexual activity with a partner, is done in public, or causes significant distress to the person. It may cause distress if it is done compulsively and/or interferes with daily life and activities.
Is Masturbation Harmful?
In general, the medical community considers masturbation to be a natural and harmless expression of sexuality for both men and women. It does not cause any physical injury or harm to the body, and can be performed in moderation throughout a person's lifetime as a part of normal sexual behavior. Some cultures and religions oppose the use of masturbation or even label it as sinful. This can lead to guilt or shame about the behavior.
Some experts suggest that masturbation can actually improve sexual health and relationships. By exploring your own body through masturbation, you can determine what is erotically pleasing to you and can share this with your partner. Some partners use mutual masturbation to discover techniques for a more satisfying sexual relationship and to add to their mutual intimacy.

If it bothers you that much to be thinking about diseases in the future then you do have a major problem. Men think of sex about sixteen times an hour or more every day. Thinking on it will bring about some kind of action.
Thought precedes action you know.
If you want to stop masturbating then you are going to have to engage your willpower. You can't stop thinking old boy... but you can control your actions.
If it bothers you then stop it!!
That takes willpower ....and you end up controlling your pecker; it won't control you.

If you only started 6 years ago... you started way too late and are trying to make up for lost time. Boys usually start at 5 years of age.
You will be able to meet your partner needs... but unless she loves sex... she might not be able to satisfy your needs... which is why women object to men masturbating.
Stop looking at pictures on porn sites and you won't be thinking about sex as much.

Maybe you are to saturated by sex in everything you do. To much porn, tv and music that only talk about sex, try to put you mind in something else like finding a hobby, play a sport and find yourself a girlfriend, maybe that will calm you out.

None of this is true. It is healthy for the prostate to ejaculate often. Don't worry about it.
