No because I am from Manchester. I have a Scottish uncle though and I have noticed that when he coughs,it's in a Scottish accent!

I'm Scottish and even I have problems understanding some people...(and myself after a wee glass of wine, or is that Swahili!) It's especially harder the further North you go. My aunt stays in Fraserburgh and all the 'Fit Like Quine'...gets me so confused.!

lol no but i have had a one way drunken conversation with a scottish guy I had no idea what he was saying so I just nodded my head and smiled bless him I definately think even he didnt know what he was saying either!!
I do love the scottish accent though (when its spoke slowly)

LMAOOOOOOOOO no but im not scottish unless i visit the relatives and get the accent, but my dad was and no one could ever understand him cos he spoke soooooooo fast!!

ha lol yeah i do it all the time when i get carried awy wit my sel also i've lived in so many parts of scotland i'm not sure what kinda accent i'm ment to talk in lol can change from word to word
