It is just another ACLU attempt the confuse the Americans and start a new equality debate. Marriage is not an equal partnership. Men have certain strengths, and so do women. And in a good relationship, they contribute to each other. Taking the man's name shows respect for the head of household and the wife become identified to the family name. Using the tradition, Americans and rest of the world survived for generations. Now the Anti Christian Lawyers Union wants to change tradition and have the men take their wife's fathers. Haven't they screwed up America enough?

Many countries have the equal choice to either change the name entirely (hyphenate both names) or to choose either.

Maybe he has had a falling out with his family and wants to start over. Maybe this is is way of honoring his wife's family.

I think married couples should be able to choose either name. The paperwork to change his name on everything should be the same as a wife changing hers.

The guy is a complete and total pansy. Just like a man who marries a woman that refuses to take his last name.

Men have to start being men again! These metrosexual wimps are screwing up the gene pool.

If you don't want my name, you don't want me, so go to hell!

I think this is totally weird. I've never heard of this before. Is this even legal? More power to him though I guess. He must have issues with someone in his family tree. LOL.

I think it is out of the ordinary, but it is his choice and if he wants to do it, then fine.
