Before my period my husband and I had sex 2 days and the day before I started my period. Other women in my family have conceived this way (not to mention my period isn't always regular)....Anyway, I had my period and the first day was kinda heavy and then it was light the entire time and ended a day earlier than it usually does. Now two days after my period ended, and 1 week after when we had sex, I have some brown spotting ( I have been told that does happen after a period occasionally)...So I know typically spotting could be a sign of early pregnancy, but I think it is typically after 2 weeks...Is there still a possibility I could be pregnant, or am I being too hopeful?!

So when should I take a pregnancy test? Typically, its around your missed period which I obviously didn't miss, it's been a week since I might've conceived is that too soon?

it is possible yes and nothing wrong with being hopeful as long as you are realistic and are ready to get back up when it's not what you hoped for the spotting might be implantation bleeding it happens 7-10 after conception.. I would wait another two weeks and do a test. but in the mean time keep trying. good luck ..

Yes it is very possible you could be pregnant.. I got my period the whole entire time I was pregnant, it's rare but it does happen.. well you can take a test if it comes up negative i'd wait about 2 weeks and try again because typically you don't get a positive until your 4 weeks pregnant which would be around the time your period was due but since you arent regular it is possible you got pregnant right before your period. I got pregnant with my daughter 2 days before I got my period.. good luck to you..

There's a possibility everyone is different my aunt had her period for 4 months when she was pregnant. The only way to be sure is to take a home pregnancy test or go to your Dr. and get a blood test. I would suggest a blood test they are more accurate than a home test. Good luck!!
