By considering World Cup is not the last, we have to build aeam for the future also neglectng all other old stories.
For the world cup my dream team is
1. S Ganguly - The most succesful opening partner for India)
2. STendulker- The most succesful opening partner for India)
3. R Uthappa- Most prominent in Renji cricket now
4. Yuvraj Singh- Promising youngster also 3 MOS in a raw
5. Rahul Dravid Dependable in crucial situation
6. DKarthik Good form (3rd test + MOM in 20/20 )
7. MSDhoni Capable for hurricane batting
8. Zaheerkhan Experienced + in form
9. Sreesanth Competent + Good potential
10. AnilKumble Experience + ability to bowl as per situation
11. Ishanth Sarma Promising young talent
The weaker Indian batting will be much strengthened by the inclusion of experinced Ganguly, Yuvraj & also in form Uthappa & DKarthik.
Bowlers are the best 4 in form today - zaheer, Sreesanth, kumble & young Ishanth. See the strength upto no.7
Also I include the following as remaining 5 as reserves
12. Munaf Patel (can replace if Sreesanth or Ishanth not fit )
13. AAgarkar (can be considered to replace Zaheer)
14. S Raina (performance in domestic + competent + fielding)

such a joke when people pick south asian players,
why cant people realize teams like India and pakistan CANNOT play well away from Home, its not the players its the way they are used to playing on those slow / dull/ lifeless pitches.
