Wall of Junk from Urza's Saga is a 0/7 artifact creature for 2 mana that reads "At end of combat, return Wall of Junk to owner's hand." It doesn't specify that it counts as a wall, but I'm sure they've corrected that already. My question is, if it recieves lethal damage in combat, does it die or come back to your hand?

when wall of junk recieves lethal combat damage (7 or more) when damage resolves, state based effects are checked. State based effects see that there is a creature on the board with lethal damage, and wall of junk dies. After damage is done resolving, the end of combat triggers are checked, and wall of junk is no longer in play, therefore, your wall of junk is dead.

If it recieves lethal damage it is removed to the graveyard before the end of the turn. Since its not in play at the end of the turn it is not returned to your hand.
