I work on a computer at work which strains my eyes. I do take my breaks etc..BUT my lens wear out way too fast. I wear Acuvue 2 (2 week ones) and I use Renu cleanser. I wear the lens approximately 10 - 12 hours a day. Is that way too long? My lens wear or rip in about a week maybe a couple days longer. Are there certain cleansers that work better or am I wearing those suckers too long? I use eye drops too by the way. Thanks!

You might ask you eye care person about a lens called Night and Day. I wear these and I leave them in for 30 days and then take them out and throw away. I work on a computer all day as well and I have no problem. Might mention that I have what is called "Mono-Vision" Perscription One lens for seeing up close and one for far away, Had this perscription for about 10 years and no problem.

Everyone's eyes are different and you need to find the best eye care solution for your eyes. But generally, if you are in the US, you should not be using Renu cleanser...Try Complete, it is a bit expensive but it is good for moistrurizing. I used Alcon too... Depending on your own eyes, you can figure out how long is too long for wearing your contacts each day. For me I usually wear it for around 12 hours, and that's ok for my eyes. But doctors suggeset that you should not wear them if you dont HAVE TO. which is what i try to do. Eye drops help too. Again, try different things and you will figure out what your eyes like the most :)

Try Focus Night & Day Contact Lenses. They are good to long hours wear, up to 30 days continuous wear. Manufacturer say this contact lenses allow six times more oxygen to reach eyes than ordinary contact lenses.
