Should we send conservative talk show hosts to the front lines of Iraq?

It is ironic none of them served-intellectual cowards-oh yea I am a Vet.

You bet. Along with all of the politicians that are so fast to send others to war but refused to serve in the military themselves. I'm sure someone here will post a list of these cowards.

So what if someone has not served. That does not mean they do not know what they are talking about. How are they cowards? I see no specifics. The only cowards I see are ones who call names and take cheap shots and do not back it up

OK, let me try to understand this part:

“What is the Democrat's plan if we pull out and bring all the troops
home, and then we in America are attacked by
terrorists (some of whom are already in this country
just waiting for the proper time to do their evil).????”

So, THEY are already HERE, waiting for the RIGHT TIME to do their evil (ATTACK US).

Now, as long as we illegally and immorally OCCUPY THEIR COUNTRY and keep MURDERING hundreds of thousands of them – then they WILL NOT do THEIR EVIL.

However, as soon as we leave them alone and QUIT KILLING THEM – THEN they will be motivated to do THEIR EVIL with operatives who are ALREADY HERE and READY to attack.

Is that about it?

Wow, I am not sure they are aware of this particular strategy at the War College? That would mean we could attack China (or anyone) and not have to worry about reprisals as long as we just kept killing them.

Why, then, did we respond after Pearl Harbor?

According to you, we should have waited until the Japanese were finished before we took our turn.

You might want to give that plan just a little more thought.

I am a veteran as well, and I would go over to Iraq in a heartbeat if they took 45 year olds. I looked it up, I have to be 41 or below.

Just remember, we go to war to fight for the right to express whatever opinion, not just the popular ones.

Im not so much in favor of sending the Bill O'Reillys and Chris Matthews to Iraq (they wouldnt last 2 minutes and they would put REAL soldiers lives at risk with their incompetence) as I am sending men who've already raised their children, passed their genes on and therefore have a lot less to lose than the kids who find themselves over there now.

I say we recruit a bunch of older, experienced vets to go over there and just lay some good ole American scorched earth policy on them towel heads (JUST KIDDING about the Towelhead remark). You know sorta like the group in "Uncommon Valor".

Wow, what a great question. You know we should send everybody that you disagree with to the front lines. That way, you can live in a country where everyone thinks alike. That would be great.

Talk show hosts, of any political leaning, are entertainers. To take your logic further, should we send actor, actresses, dancers to the front lines of Iraq simply because they are entertainers? Just because you don't agree with certain talk show hosts is no reason to send them into a war zone against their will.

Yes lets send SEAN HANNITY AND RUSH...wearing their American flag t-shirts, armed with pea shooters into the slums of Baghdad, with a boom box on their shoulders blasting Lee Greenwoods "proud to be an American".

Why would we send them? We currently have an all-volunteer military with the courage, training, and honor to win any fight. Sending people that are mostly old and slightly portly will not help us win.
