Reply to Andertwin's message: hrrmmm strange... I've been vaccinated for hepatitis too, but they take my blood every time. If you want to donate, you should check it out they are always looking for O+ like yourself.

Other than the first time I went there has always been a reason I wasn't allowed. Tattoo less than a year old, medications I was taking, iron levels too low....And I'm O+. My husband though always donates within a week of becoming able to again. The last time he did by ALYX i think it was called-whole blood only I think it is but not positive.

My blood type is O+, but I can't donate any blood, too many medications taken on a daily basis. I wish I could donate, my daughter does.

I'm O+, and I donate whenever I can, but I'm out where they don't come around very much, and I can't get to the blood bank in Indianapolis. They hate to see me come, too--my doctor calls me turnip because you can't get blood out of me.

i'm O-, haven't donated yet, but i do intend to, as i don't mind having blood taken for a test, you could milk me! injections, now that's another story!!!

I did it once in my life..I will never repeat it though my blood type is O+.
