then they don't hire on for a part - it's that simple - they get paid lots of money for those scenes and know ahead of time what is expected of them and who they will be working with....husbands and wives understand this part of it.

I have read alot of interviews from actors/actresses about love scenes when they are married to someone else. I am surprised at how many of them request to have their spouse in the room during shooting. Almost all of them have said that they are professional and that it is just part of their jobs, but they feel better knowing their spouse saw the actual taping (which is very difficult and not romantic at all from what I understand, with all the cameras and crew around), then be shocked when the film comes out. You also have to consider that alot of actors are married to other actors or directors/producers or someone in the business and there is an understanding that it is part of the job.

I wouldn't mind that being part of my job if I was working say with Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp or even Brad Pitt, but what if you had a love scene with someone really ugly? hhmmmmm... : >

That was one of the problems Tom Cruise had with his first wife Nicole Kidman- she was VERY jealous. and on the days she knew he has a kiss/sx scene, she would go on set with him, and be right there in the same room with him while filming the scene.

He said when the Director yelled "OK cut" she would be standing over him saying STOP NOW.

Then the actor/actress should not have taken the part. I'm sure that the spouse understands the situation and overlooks the occasional "work related" smooch, it's the un-"work related" ones that get you in trouble.

Well than, they obviously shouldnt be acting. Kissing and acting like youre having sex is the price you pay to be an actor, even if you are married!!
