I always have my keys with me and I always lock my car. Convenience can get your car stolen. It happened to my brother once. I have lost my keys in the house a couple of times in 30 years but we always have two sets and i have always found them.

How would it be convenient? You need the keys to get into the car in the first place!

If you lock your car that wouldn't work very good. You could go to a local key shop and get some extras, also there is a flat plastic wallet key you could keep in pocket if you worry that much.

I only have one set of keys to the car, and it's $100 to have another made cuz I have an alarm. And I ALWAYS lock my car. So leaving the keys in there wuldn't be to smart now would it? lol

I keep a spare set in my wallet in case I lock myself out, but I see no point to leaving a set in the vehicle.

i always leave them in the car and use keyless entry....yup get jealous I have a '97 merc mountaineer.....its got 150,000 miles on it.
