I don't think there is a book solely on wedgewood animals but there are details about them in many collectors guides and catalogues.

Wedgewood glass? I thought Wedgewood was china. But I could be wrong.

Are you thinking of "The Glass Menagerie" the play by Tennessee Williams? The animals are not Wedgewood, but they are glass.
