Ok here's the story- My LMP started on December 13th, intercourse on the 26 th of December. i have been feeling very bloated, going to the washroom every 10 minutes, and have sore boobs. This would be my third pregnancy, so i know what to expect. But i took a pregnancy test on the 8th of January (First Response, it says it can test 3 days befoe your period is due) the test came back neg. When should i try again?? Anyone else had problems with these tests? It also happened with my 2nd child...
My cycle is anywhere between 22-25 days..for years.....

i had the same prob with my current pregnancy and i waited 1 more week and then it came up positive.if you have had 2 other chn then i think you should trust your own instincts.
also my first TELLING sign is sore boobs too.

Wow I am in the exact situation as you!! LMP the 13th and took early test on the 8th. This would be my third child too. The test on the 8th was negative but i am still hoping it was too early. My cycle is usually 30-31 days. I am planning to retest on Saturday if i do not have my period yet. You should retest in a few days too. Good luck.

You have striking hormonal changes to A release the egg. B change the mucus C allow the egg to implant on the Uterus wall D carry the foreign (different genetic material) body for about 9 months. These changes cause various other symptoms, and are more or less amenable to being measured by the pregnancy test. Did you have fertile mucus on the 26 ? When did the fertile mucus start and when did you have intercourse in relation to that? How long was the mucus fertile, slippery? Answers to these questions will help to clarify the picture. If you have been taking some method of birth control, many of them alter the hormonal balance, and hence can affect both your getting pregnant and also the test for some time after you quit them.

The only way to be sure is to go to your Dr. and get a blood test. You will have it back in about 2 or 3 days and these tests don't lie. This way you know for sure so you don't have to wait around and wonder. Good luck!

i am four months preg. with my first soni was five week preg b4 i found ou. with this baby i had a 22 day cycle and my last period on the fourth i predict i did not conceive until the eighteenth or that. it is hard to predict with aa short cycle like ours when u should have conceived. but i found out ten days after that with first response it should work. leave it a day or two and it should show up. good luck to be honest if intercourse took place then that was thirteen days ago u should know tomorrow or it simply is negative.

wait another 2 or 3 days and make sure you take it first thing in the morning. I took those tests and I had a neg answer and a faint second blue line. Good luck!

Try taking another test. Or go to doctor and get a blood one done. Do the urine test first thing in the morning. Good luck

I think that you should wait another couple of days, then retest....if it is negative, but you still haven't started your period...go to the doctor and get tested....Good luck to you!!

you can have the test done at your doctors office . Go and have the blood test done it's quicker and more sure
