the normal blood pressure is 120/60. Yours is not dangerously low, and i believe it is fairly common.

120/80 is normal BP for adults. 110/75 is low-normal; 90/60 is borderline low. 60/40 is too low and 50/33 or lower is dangerous. Symptoms of low BP include weakness, tiredness, dizziness, syncope/fainting and in severe cases, even coma. 90/60 is not dangerous, but it is borderline low and should be monitored. The NIH even maintains that "normal" is any reading between 90/60 to 130/80. Treatments for hypotension, when truly necessary, include medications and lifestyle changes.

Everyone is different. I think high blood pressure is probably a more common problem, but my husband has very low blood pressure, in fact he's not allowed to donate blood. But that's normal for him, and maybe 90/60 is normal for you. Ask the doctor if he/she feels yours is too low and if so, what to do about it. If it's not too low, try not to worry about it. Good luck!

Your blood pressure is not dangerously low, it actually falls under normal ranges. The average bp is 120/80. When I get mine checked it is usually 112/62. You dont have a problem, you are just on the lower end of average

Blood pressure should ideally be 120/80 - therefore your blood pressure is low but I agree if it was dangerous your Dr would have told you and done something about it. If it is not troubling you then I wouldn't worry.

I really would watch your bp and make sure it doesn't go any lower as it can be a sign of a heart problem. My family has a heart problem called IHSS (the muscle grows too large and cuts of flow to the heart) it is quite dangerous but as long as you don't have anything wrong with your heart you should be ok, but i would ask my doctor to have an EKG done just to make sure everything's good.

If it was dangerously low your doctor would have told you so. Low blood pressure is common, so is high blood pressure. Just keep getting it checked at regular intervals, you'll be fine.

This may be your normal.
Which means you will feel low when dehydrated or salt deprived.
Which means that if you do develop high BP in life, most ERs or MDs will miss it as you will just be "normal" for them but in reality a BP of 120/86 will be major health risk for you as your baseline was quite low.

It seems to be a common thing my blood pressure was 70 /40 the other day it was hell - i went to the doc and he has given me pills that seems to help maybe you should ask your doc for pills to try treat it. Eating salty things like marmite, biltong, chips chicken noodle soup anything that has a high salt content helps alot. good luck hope you fell better.

It's not dangerous at this point but it could become that way quickly.
I don't know your age but your MD should be requesting a full cardiac work up for you as there are heart problems that can cause a drop in BP. Please request cardiac testing from your primary care MD or go immediately to your nearest ER. Do not delay!
