How is it that a team goes 13-3 during the regular season and we aren't considered to have a chance against the Colts or anyone else? Ditka said it best when he said that Ravens will be the biggest surprise in the playoffs. No one thinks they can win. Ask the 13 people we beat (including the overrated Chargers) whether we weren't good enough. Ask the former SuperBowl champions what it was like.

I think "abused" is a stupid word to use here.
I havent heard anyone say "The Ravens havent a shot in the world" or "The Ravens are not good enough to compete against these other teams".
I think the Ravens (except for the SD game) have quietly been winning all their games, but everyone is too focused and azz-kissing up to LT and Peyton Manning to notice the Ravens.

I think you mean to say, they deserve more RESPECT, not less abuse.

What in the world are you talking about? The Ravens are a 4-point favorite! And I was in Vegas last week and Ravens were 7/2 to win the Super Bowl (2nd best odds next to SD, before playoffs started).

Even though the Ravens are flying under the radar, I don't think they've been dismissed by the experts. We're ranked #2 on most PowerRanking charts (behind SD, go figure).

If the Pats win in SD, and have to travel back across the country (twice across the country and 2 road games in 2 weeks) to play Ravens in Baltimore, the Ravens will almost be a lock to win it all. And if they have to go back to SD, well, we've won there already...

Ravens won the game vs. the Chargers @ home but if you watched that game the Ravens were out played--Marty screwed that game up for the Chargers. I like the Ravens but the AFC is pretty tough I still think they get as much recognition as they deserve. Jamal Lewis isn't what he used to be and neither is Ray Lewis. Not much for weapons on offense other than a warrior in McNair they don't have any threats. Based on the game in Baltimore vs. the Chargers I think most football fans would have to pick the Chargers since they will be at home.

What?

I am choosing the Colts to win, and I think I'm in the minority since most are choosing the Ravens.

to me the Ravens are going to win the SuperBowl,is my pick so I agree with you, they have a stout defense and they are going to put a lot of pressure on Peyton Manning, thats the key to beat Indy, you stop Peyton, you win, and with the Ravens defense is not that hard to imagine, trust me I know what the Ravens are made of, and they are going to surprise a lot of people, take care.

I'm a Jacksonville Jaguars fan

I think it's going to be a great game. If our (colts) defense steps it up like last game, I think we'll have a good shot. But as much as I'd like to say "WE'RE GONNA WIN" I can't with total certainty. But I really do think we've got a decent shot, as does Baltimore. Sounds like you're the only one who doesn't think you can win or is doubting that you can.

People aren't running them down. They are simply not noticing them. I think the Ravens prefer it that way.
