2 of my rosy barbs go round and round in circles. I'd say they are chasing each others tail but its more like who can nip at the others belly. They are both males and none of my other fish do it. I don't think they are really hurting each other, but why are they doing this?

They could be doing 2 things here, 1, they could be just playing. 2 they could be bullying. Here's how to diferentiate - if they do it every time they look at each other, it's most likely bullying, but if they only do it once and a while, they are playing.

Tigers and rosy barbs normally choose temperatures interior the better 70's (seventy 8-80oF). yet as long because of the fact the temperature of the water maintains to be fairly consistent interior the mid 70's and has no super flucuations ,they must be positive without a heater.

You put two males of this species together and it's a recipe for disaster. One will kill the other because they're rivals. Trouble is worse than that, though - the "victor" often dies of his injuries within hours or days of the death of the first one. You cannot teach them not to fight. You can only put them in separate aquariums or in one big enough that they don't encounter one another...which would require an aquarium of a couple hundred gallons water capacity.

It sounds like two males with nothing better to do then harass each other. Adding a couple of females is probably a good idea, to keep them occupied and allow them to explore a little more of their natural behaviors.
