if i knew my husband actually ask for help like you did, that would be touching. if you cannot see your wife, then send her a recent photo, personalize it holding a big poster with "i love you". she isn't interested in material possession right now. she wants you, even if it is a picture or a video would be wonderful. call the local radio and ask them if they would be interested in surprising her with a broadcast of you wishing her a happy birthday. or sometimes the local tv stations have an interest in these special times. think about it. something will come to mind. let us know!!! thanks, and good luck. she will be happy with whatever you come up with.

You could send her yourself! You need to go and visit your wife, 6 months is too long to stay away. Get on a plane! Don't even tell her you're coming, just surprise her, she'll love it. Take her dancing and out to a really nice dinner.

If she's so special you need to show up and tell her that in person. I'm willing to bet that she's missing you and that would be the best gift ever.

i think if you have a cam on your computer and he has a cam on his maybe you could do a little sexual fantasy play that way. i was often seperated from my husband on special occassions and i would always make him up a love box that included all his favorite things and depending on the occassion i would sometimes include naughty pics, a piece of lingerie with my perfume on it or a tape (this was when cassettes where in) that was like a mini phone sex call. he could listen to it and use it whenever he wanted and enjoyed that many times. my husband has passed now and i wish i had one more anniversary with him so you are very lucky and i am sure whatever you do will be special and memorable for both of you.

Buy her a plane ticket to be with you, or you buy one to be with her. Then go out, and spend quality time with her. She needs you more than what she needs material objects.

However, when you celebrate the 4th anniversary, make it special by taking her to a beautiful hotel, fantastic dinner, give her all your love and your attention for the duration of the time you are together.

Buy her a beautiful gift, that will last her for years and years.

She is in Australia and you're in the UK? How about video phones so you can speak and see each other? Not very romantic but a great way of keeping in touch? Send flowers and the phone...

I would say 4 dozen of roses,
1-Red Because you obviously love her
2- Yellow, because she is your best friend
3-Purple, because she is so special 2 u and enchants you ( the real meaning)
4-White --symbolizing Truth and Innocence as your love is, seeing how you are far apart...
Best Wishes on your #4, I am heading myself on #5...

Part of your present should be a book - books are the traditional 4th anniversary present:

Traditionally 4 years is the 'Linen' anniversary.
So something in clothing ?...although not too original.

How about putting together meaningful photos from your/her past into an album on www.photobox.co.uk ?

How about a spa day pass?
How about travelling back to be with her for a week and take her out for the day?
