- Get a physical exam from your doctor
- Go to ovulationcalculator.com to find out when your most fertile days are (and have sex on those days)
- Start taking a multi-vitamin that includes folic acid
- Stop taking or using any birth control if you are
- Quit alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and cut down caffeine
- Eat healthily and exercise
- Get together with your man ;)

Haha... everything every one else has said is absolytely correct. A few things to make sure you do that I think is important is to really be sure the time is right for you and your partner. Make sure both of you are emotionally prepapred (well as prepared as one could be), financially prepared, and that you have a good support network... I have worked with many people who just decide to have a child, but dont look at the big picture right away... I wish you the best of luck... Have fun making that baby;)

well first get a check up and make sure you are healthy, start on some really good(pre-natal works) vitamins so you have a enough folic acid(keeps birth defects away), eat right and exercise regularly. Avoid alcohol (in case you might be already pregnant, dont smoke (if you do QUIT) then just relax and enjoy yourself and soon you will be having a baby.
