Our 6 year old has been saving her money, and wants to buy this "moon sand" www.moonsand.tv
Perhaps you have seen the commercial. I would love to hear from parents who had purshaced this stuff and give me your oppinion. Was it worth what you get. The website isn't clear about how much is in the bags. Thanks.

Moon sand is a load of fun. Everyone loves it, even for adults, it's kind of fun to squish around. The set comes with an inflatable play tub so it doesn't get everywhere. It includes about 2 pounds of sand, but you can buy more easily at stores like Target, Walgreens etc.

It's a lot of fun but watch your carpet! If you get it picked up right away it's not bad but if you miss some and (as kids are apt to do) it gets stomped into the carpet, it's a bear to get out!
Our 6 and 12 year olds really enjoy playing with it. I think it's about the only time they play well together anymore.I've been able to pick up some more of the sand in various colors at Target.

my little brothers have the set and it is really awesome! It is so much better then PlayDoh. I'm 21 and I enjoy playing with it!

yes but its a little messy so i would watch her play with it especially with water.
