It is hard not to get excited if you are late on your period, and wouldnt mind having a baby. I can tell you i have been late so many times, some by a week, some by 5 weeks, one time i didnt have a period for 6months! And was never pregnant any of those times! I was even told i couldnt get pregnant, and it is still such a bummer when you take that test and its negative! Well im 31 weeks pregnant! So miracles happen! So if it is Negative, hang in there, it will happen one day for you guys!

If your body works on a 28-day cycle, your most fertile time is 14 days from the first day of your period, but everyone's body is different. My understanding is that sperm can live up there a few days waiting for the egg to mature too.

Most women ovulate approx. 14 days from the first day of your period and it can take 3 days from the day of intercourse to concieve. Hope that helps

Net necessarily. A woman can get pregnant any day of her cycle providing she has ovulated. The odds of it are slim, but it is possible.
