The fragrances in the colognes and aftershaves react differently to different people
(everyone has a different balance of chemicals in their skin)
My suggestion is to go to a perfume store (or similar) and ask someone who works there for recommendations!
First smell a whole range of differet smells (they usually spray the deo onto a small strip of paper)
Select about 3 of your favourite smells from the strip tests and then spray them on seperate parts of your arm (this is to test how the smells react with YOUR skin) then make your selection!
A few good suggestions would be :
COOL WATER (by davidoff)
Euphoria for men
Farenheit
Black Code (armani i think)
Here's a tip when applying aftershave/cologne...
LESS is MORE!! Too much cologne and you smell like cheap@ss pimp.
Spray once onto your neck area, then spray once onto each wrist.
rub your wrists together and then rub your wrists in the area behind your ear (by rubbing the cologne into your hair by your ears, the hair will absorb the cologne, thus making the smell last longer)

Depends on the man, aftershaves reach with your own skin chemistry (hormones sweat etc) therefore some will work on some others not the best way to find out which is best for you is to use the shop tester (on your face) and see if you still like it at the end of the day

I sell physique spray so I certainly have smelled particularly some advantageous and nasty ones. Nicest one I certainly have is Armani code. it is likewise the only one ladies observe. stay removed from joop homme. that's nasty oh, and brut.. scent of an previous guy, as is givenchy gentleman and boss form a million.

Expensive or budget? If we're not talking mega-bucks, then I love the Lynx range, esp. Africa. Smells great on my man!
