Bon Jovi were actually popular and liked! Films like Indiana Jones- E.T- Stand By Me - Labyrinth and the Goonies were the order of the day!! and Garfield/Inspector Gadget/Super Ted were the cartoons of my youth! I actually remember the film your on about with the monsters.Fred Savage was in it, he was also in the Wonder Years, Remember that?? My sister loved New Kids On the Block, Take That and Boyzone. Listened mostly to Meatloaf, Bon Jovi and Guns and Roses. Before this eminem style garbage came in. Kids didn't talk like they were all brought up in the bronx! those were the days?! The Master System and Snes were so cool. Alex the kid? and Mario. had some really cool friends, my main worries concerned playing my Amiga, and eating sweets, god how nerdy!? Stand by Me is the film I will most remember it all by. Thanks for helping me relive those memories.

I remember the NIN Closer video in the 90s; it offended and freaked out so many people, but I thought it was the coolest video I'd ever seen.

I remember a lot of personal stuff from the 80s, like doing book reports in the library because there were no computers or internet yet.

I remember babysitting my little cousin in the 90s, and watching childrens shows with her like David the Gnome and Muppet Babies.

And I had an Atari console too! It's funny how I thought the graphics to the games were so good back then, but now they're so primitive.

It will develop into hard with some bands that dangle over 20 years, yet i will attempt to apply the more desirable dominant one (or a minimum of attempt to guage through the textile from that decade on my own). 60s - Beatles 70s - Elvis Costello and the points of interest 80s - the Smiths (at present, this one differences typically, 70s too) 90s - Pavement 00s - the Shins ************ hi Mr. Bernstein. thanks for the top. I also forgot, i became killing time in a Borders a pair weeks in the past and that i appeared at Fleet Foxes and they were exceptionally large. I see the Simon and Garfunkel high quality that you've been talking about, also splashes of countless different large stuff (somewhat the Shins, somewhat that interior sight Tall thoughts crew i have advised you about, and a pair different issues that I undergo in concepts questioning, yet i can not quite placed my finger on after some time has handed) at any cost, they are genuinely on my gradually more desirable lengthy list, yet in the route of the right of it. i will genuinely study Deerhunter quickly.

I was born in '81. I loved Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Ponies, Rainbow Bright, Sheera-Princess of Power, the Smurfs, Snorks, Fraggle Rock, and kick @ss Saturday morning cartoons.

I remember the side pony tails and really big bangs. I had soo many neon colored socks and "Jams" shorts. LA Gear high tops with pink and silver ribbons for laces. Jellies shoes.

In the nineties I loved the music. Nirvana, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, and lets not forget MMMMBop. LOL

I loved the skater look in the nineties. Emo kids totally ripped of the look. YOU WERE NOT THE FIRST ONES! Its like they took a bit of the Goth and a bit of the skater and now its Emo. Give me some airwalks in strange colors or some funky printed Dr. Martin combat boots and some overly huge jeans that have been ripped to shreds and band t-shirts in black.

The movies were great from both decades. I remember too many to count on here.

*tear How I miss my childhood!

I was an 80s teen.
I remember watching Knight Rider, Airwolf, Magnum PI, and of course Alf...the alien from Melmac who always wanted cat for dinner. lol
The movies...E.T. I remember people making a fuss because Princess Diana cried when E.T. went home. Also remember Back the Future, Dirty Dancing, Ghost. Back then Back to the Future was my favorite movie.
My favorite group in my teen years was Expose'. Madonna and Michael Jackson were the most popular at my school though. Also remember the song "Walk Like An Egyptian" by the Bangles. Very cool song. Other songs I remember that got heavy radio play...Loveshack (B-52's), Heart & Soul (T'Pau), Chaka Khan (don't remember the band name). Tiffany and Debbie Gibson were the Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera of the 80s although I don't remember them acting/dressing all sexy like Brit and Christina. There was also Paula Abdul (loved her music back then..haven't listened to her in ages) and Pebbles (Mercedes Boy was her biggest hit).
The fashion of the 80s was big hair and wild clothes. Parachute and MC Hammer styled pants were the rage right along with acid wash denim. You could tell if the girls were totally into Madonna because they wore the gloves and hair accessories that were like hers. The popular shirts were stripes or plaids in either regular or neon colors. The popular shoes...Keds, Vans, Bass camp oxfords, Kangaroos, Kaepa, penny loafers, and ballerina shoes.

Wow... they were the greatest times, and I was just thinking about this. I still remember everyone turning their hair orange with "Sun In". I remember Girbauds before they became popular again. I remember tight-rolling pants. I remember hypercolor t-shirts that turned colors when you got hot or cold. I remember Full House, Steve Urkell, and Bon Jovi wearing that sexy outfit and singing "Blaze of Glory". I remember when guys wore "tails" in their hair. I remember Miss Lee press on fingernails. I remember slap bracelets, jellies shoes, and so much more. Those were great memories.

Good times....good times.

I remember doing the Cabbage Patch, legwarmers, Run DMC....

I remember the "cowgirl" barbie in her frilly, shiny white and silver fringed outfit....the one where you push the button in her back and her heavily blue shadowed eye would wink.

I remember The Goonies and Legend and Labyrith with David Bowie.

I loved Atari....Frogger was best.

Oh! And my Princess Leia t-shirt!
