I need a creative idea for my graduation project. I'm a college student, studying marketing, consumer behavior, brand management, advertising and promotion, etc..
My graduation project is basically doing a marketing plan for a new idea, product, or service; "preferably but not necessarily" to be implemented in a 3rd world country. it is about 100 to 200 pages, involving consumer behavior topics, brand management issues, and marketing mix elements (product, pricing, place, promotion)... It is only a marketing plan, not a full business plan, which means that accounting or finance issues are not needed.
Let's see how creative Yahoo! surfers are! :D

Since you have to implement it in a 3rd world country, why don't you pick a country, then research its' agricultural goods. For example, if you chose a nation in Africa, and that nation has lots of wild animals (elephants mainly) running around, leaving dung piles then:
1. market the use of dung as a cheap material to build roofs out of for their houses.
2. or use other naturally-occuring wildlife as the center focus for your project.
The main point I am getting at, is if you choose something that is already there in that country, then it is cheaper to use that to produce goods (you follow me?). You can also use price, goods location, etc, as promoting points. Good Luck :)
