these are the basic structral compunds in the body. and there are two types of proteins i.e. essential and non essential proteins. essential are those which can not be made by the body and their source is outside fodd etc.
and proteins are the polymer of amino acids means proteins after degradation converted in the amino acids with the action of proteses enzymes so ultimately the working part is the amino acids. so take it in either form , at last they converted in to amino acids then their absorption occur.

Protein is the whole food that is digested by the body. Amino acids are the parts that make up protein. Your body needs 22 different amino acids to function. We make 14 of these amino acids. The other eight are ingested and broken down from food. Taking individual amino acids doesn't serve the purpose of all the amino acids. They are like links in a chain. If one is missing then the whole chain is affected. The argument about protein is, what foods contain high quality protein and how well do we digest that food to create the amino acids necessary for good health. There is no good answer. Each person has a different ability to utilize protein. Unfortunately you are the testing ground for the answer. Find out what works best for you.

Ok, so your body can make many of the amino acids, only 8 or 9 need to be consumed through food. You can get these from veggie burgers, soybeans, soy products, milk, cheese, eggs, chick peas (aka garbanzo beans), baked beans, black beans, lentils, peanuts, and tofu. You don't have to worry about the certain amino acids making a full protein a lot if you eat a balanced diet. If you're still worried, try protein shakes, and I'm fairly sure there are protein supplements.

Amino acids are building blocks of protein. That is you link different amino acids together to make protein. Your body is going to break down the proteins anyways into the buildinig blocks.
Your best bet is to stick with the protein which is going to give you the different amino acids.

Amino acids are the basic building block of proteins to begin with. Protein itself will give you more energy, but amino acids are easier to absorb.

theyre basically the same thing, proteins are basically like a chain, and the links of the chain are amino acids. youre body is pretty good at breaking those links so i dont think there is really an appreciable difference in absorption
