what does make the sky appear blue ??? why not any other color like green or even red ?? speaking about normal weather conditions at day time...what is the explanation for this which makes blue color wins??? good question ha..!!

becouse when the light of sun inter to earth (atmospher around the earth) the radiation of sun light .
1- reflection , the lengh of reflect radiation is equal to lengh of blue colour radiatin .
2- atmospher is work as a glass for reflecting radiation .

The distribution of the sun light in the air causes the sky to be seen in blue color. The air which isn't assumed to have a color, may in fact have a color because it has kilometers of thickness.

the answer to this question was given by sir C. V. Raman. It has got to do with the raman effect

it has something to do with the reflection onto the clouds and the angle... this is the visible spectrum of the light bouncing of molecules, creation blue "waves".
