Yes, as long as what's called "mineral rights" aren't owned by someone else. You may need to do some back tracking and make sure you actually own the mineral and other rights. There was an issue here in Florida not too long ago where a company owned mineral rights to a stretch of land that had been developed, and this was never gone over with the buyers. They were given the option to purchase mineral rights or move, basically.

Yes. Effectively, you own a V shaped space, narrowing down to the core, and expanding out to space.
There are mineral rights and airplane easements that come with this, but essentially it's accurate to say your rights go right to the core.
