I'm watching it right now, i just got pass the cheesy rendition of Mr brightside by camon diaz and im wondering if i just give up now. Is there any cheesy bits left because i scared ill throw up.
Should i carry on watching?

I really wanted to LOVE the holiday. The previews were great. Kate Winslet & Jack Black are terrific. Cameron Diaz's acting is horrible - though helped alot after Jude Law enters the picture. I would carry on watching, just for some of the nice little bits of scenes throughout. One of the story resolutions is a bit unbelievable, but you won't feel totally like you wasted your time :)

The Holiday MUST be the worst film I have seen this year, and I visit the cinema at least once a week! Watch out for Cameron's bra straps they go up and down depending on which angle the camera is at, very poor continuity, also candles big - small in Jewish holiday scene, and at the end look out for the tyre tracks, the taxi takes her to the main road, but when she returns the tracks disappear! all in all a missable film, Don't watch it.

Oh and another thing, is anyone else getting annoyed by Jack Black doing the same thing in all his movies? Don't get me wrong he is funny, just the thing he does where he starts singing along to a song and then runs out of words so he replaces them with things like di-di-dee-di's(I think onomatepia is the word I'm looking for), its starting to get old. Rant over.

A couple of people I know saw it - they said it was the worst movie they had ever seen.
I'd give up with it if I were you!

I really loved it. I was expecting it to be rubbish but I was pleasantly surprised. I even shed a tear!

my girlfriend liked it but even she said it was cheesy and had many chick flick cliches...you've been warned.
