Yes, they are actually making a third movie. I'm not positive what it's about, but I'm pretty sure it's set in Paris.

YEY! I really hope there is - I loved both Rush Hour 1&2. Jackie Chand and Chris Tucker are both great and it'll be fantastic to see them both back together again!
A wikipedia article says this:
"Variety had reported in May 2005 that the film was going ahead on a budget of around US $100 million as soon as Chris Tucker signed a two-picture, $40 million contract with New Line Cinema for Rush Hour 3 and an unrelated film. However, Jackie Chan then said in July that Rush Hour 3 was not moving forward because his co-star of the first two films, Chris Tucker, was making too many demands for more power such as final cut approval, the final look at the movie, an increased salary, etc. Chan called Tucker a "good friend" but questioned whether he had the stature to be so demanding. "He's still a new actor," said Chan. "How many movies has he made? Two movies have already made him very famous and made him a lot of money." "He needs to learn slowly," he added.[2] However, New Line and Tucker have come to an agreement, and the making of Rush Hour 3 has begun. "
Sounds like Chris Tucker is getting a little too big for his own boots, but I can't wait to see it!

There is indeed. My understanding is that Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan will be in it.
Also, Jackie hurt himself while filming it.
