Well in United States the age limit (within the law) is 18 years and above. In some of the States it's possible to marry at 17, but in only special circumstances such as the girl is pregnant. The religion doesn't matter there. Age: year of 18 is considered when "puberty" is finished for a girl.

As long as you are both over the legal age limit for marriage it is fine. If it is what you both want, there is no age barrier really. Just be happy and do what is in your hearts. Best of luck to both of you.

18 is the "national legal age" for marriage occasionally it can be done with parents consent. your fine.
