I don't consider myself as "older people", though I'm probably a lot older than you. Grandmother indeed. I live across from the beach so I swim every day. I have a boat that I take out when the weather permits. I walk a lot. Though the mind is willing sometimes my body doesn't want to play with me - which can be a bloody nuisance! I cook heaps. I read heaps. I do this sort of thing on the computer. I watch TV and rail against the way the world is going. I laugh a lot because I have a great family and friends. I feel very blessed, even though I wish I could strike down the God-botherers. So; all in all I have a great life.......:-}

First, what is your definition of Older People? I,unfortunately was injured on the job. Which causes alot of pain...I have ten screws, in my neck and a titanium plate. My hands go numb. It hurts to drive, because of turning my head. I have trouble reaching above my shoulder. Forget, lifting. Opening bottle top's, even cutting potato's, for french fries. The best is my attitude. Now, I can do all the things I couldn't do while I was working. I used to work 10/12 hrs., 6/7 days a week. Besides sing on week-ends to make extra money, because I was a single mom. No Welfare. I had him, I'll take care of him. Not like soooo many youngsters today. My goals are learning to oil paint, taking some classes on computer's. Seeing how my career was working on car's. I'm interested in what makes things do what they do. Other than that, get a motor-home, and travel, where I want, when I want. As long as my pain isn't too bad, and the nice thing about that is. If it is, I can just stop and rest. Not like before when I had a job. There's no such thing as pain.

"Sixty Five Plus" I am not yet, but should I live that long, I would imagine that I will still be thanking my God for letting me see "Sixty Five Plus". I have an Aunt who looks every bit of 55, but is 65 just got married for the 3rd time and her new husband bought her for her 65th birthday a spanking, new, money green 2006 Jaguar, what a present, not the fact that she is on her third husband and still going strong. God is good, All the time, if I live to be 65 and still not married, oh well!!!!
