I want to benefit from you people, your opinion. When you're going out on a date, or just with any friend, family member...

What's the first thing you notice? Shoes? Make-up? Clothes? Cleanness, eyebrows, hands, hair??

Please give me an honest opinion, that way I'd make sure to go out perfect looking.

It depends on how they act.

If they have a loud voice, and are negative, I notice their fingernails, especially dirty fingernails. Loud people draw attention to bad hygiene.

If they look down a lot, I might notice how they're dressed.

If they're quiet and look at me, I'll notice their face, especially the eyelashes and the earlobes (if it's a date) or the zits (if it's a friend or family member).

If they're underwear sticks out, their clothes are too big, or have thick glasses, sorry, I get shallow.

The body language directs attention to certain features.

Of course, it also depends on how they look. If someone has an incredibly long nose, or large chest, or wacky hair, I notice that first.

Really, whatever about them might embarrass me.

well nothing at all in the in outer appearence. well you have to just make ur impression in the way how u talk, negotitate with person, know the thing that he notice odd in you. talk camply but not in a to formal way as far eyes, hairs and othere things that u can manage on your own. but the way u present yourself leaves the impression not only on the person siiting next to you but also the whole sourranding. go and amaze the sorranding . became the spotlight girl.

If there is something horrendously ugly on the face that juts out, my attention is naturally drawn to it.

examples being:
massive bushy dragon ball eyebrows, or a big hedge-style unibrow
the presence of multiple chins
a nose that looks like it's been broken repeatedly
crossed eyes

Body Language

What messages are you sending? Make sure you are sending the right signals. Your voice, expressions, behaviour and movement can say a lot about your attitude.

So how can you tell what’s really going on? Are people being straight up or is there more to it that’s not being said. Watch, look, observe. Sometimes you can tell more by a person’s body language than the words they speak.

Let’s here what a psychologist has to say about it.

One of the most effective forms of communication involves nothing more than the contraction of facial muscles. Everyone understands what a smile means; or a frown. In fact, it has been shown that facial expressions can be recognised across countries, regardless of language or culture. Something as simple as a hug can ‘speak’ volumes about how much we care for someone. Who needs ‘yes’ or ‘no’ when a movement of the head does the trick? These basic examples show just how powerful body language can be. If we understand how to read and use body language then we can see why it is not always a bad thing to be lost for words.

We’ve all heard about body language in the romantic setting. The old saying is ‘love at first sight’ not ‘love at first word’. Their eyes meet across a crowded room. He winks at her, she raises an eyebrow. A connection is made without any words needed. These displays of body language say it all. In fact, sometimes they can say more than words can.

Our body language is a display of our motives. We are like walking advertisements for what we are thinking or feeling.2 Each of our behaviours is a way of alerting others to our inner workings. It is also a way of eliciting a response in someone else. We act; they react; and so on. For example, if someone smiles at us, we typically respond with an action of our own. Therefore, communication has started, just as in a ‘normal’ conversation

So, if you’re your own advertisement, how can you guarantee to be a best seller? By being aware of what language your body is talking. For example, how do you sell yourself during an interview? Start with the packaging. Clothes can make an important statement. Do you want your potential boss thinking ‘are they here to work, or did they get lost on the way to the beach?’ or ‘neat, smart and personal, just what we’re trying to say!’? Once you’re packaged appropriately, it’s time to concentrate on what’s underneath the wrapping. Nerves have a way of making the body act in certain ways, and they can be pretty sneaky about it. Watch the nervous foot bouncing, it’s letting everyone know your heart is going a mile a minute. Don’t barricade yourself in with crossed arms, be open to new experiences. Make eye contact! Sure, you may be feeling nervous, but you want to think confidently, and this is the message you need to send. Use the language of the body to impress your interviewer. Make it work for you.

Just as body language can let others know information about us, it can also alert us to their intentions. However, it can be confusing when people are saying one thing with their mouth and something else with their body. Have you ever seen a movie which has been dubbed? Or a video that has a slight sound delay? The mismatch between what is being said, and the movement of the mouth can be very off putting. Just like the mismatch between the words and the body language. Do we believe our dad when he says he is not angry, or do we believe the tense muscles and clenched jaw which barely allow him to get the words out in the first place? It’s important to look at body language. It can give you hidden signals about how others are actually feeling. For example, it’s always good to be able to tell when someone else is aggressive or angry. Sure they may sound calm, but is their body saying something else? If so, then maybe now isn’t the time to ask for money to buy that thing you’re dying to have … best raise the white flag and back off, don’t you think? The story told by body language can keep you one step ahead.

Well i look at / notice allot of things at once. It's almost like a ritual - i look at his hair, clothes, lips and eyes. Then if i can get i bit closer then it's what he smells like. I do not find sweat to be a manly / sexy smell. Aftershave works (as it was tested before) women prefer Ca lone.

i can notice how his eyes warms my soul when i look deep in to him
i can notice the perfume that he wears.
i can stare at his hands before i even look at his face
i can notice his deep rich voice thats sounds so pleasent when i hear it.
