Yes.You can wake'em up.They don't go through a hibernation as true as groundhogs & ect.They wake up from time to time to go out & find some dinner.Unlike smaller animals.Bears are large & still need some energy from food to keep warm & alive.Well if u wake'em up the bear.It will be sleepy & grumpy.If you do.Make sure you move outta the way before it gets up & chases you(she won't chase you far.Shehas babbies probably).Only female bears really hibernate.Males are usually awake all winter.

Yes you can wake them up. In fact they wake regularly by themselves for food and potty. Their metabolism just slows way down during hibernation. But if you want to see something really pi $$ ed off wake one up before he's ready.

Would you wake up a hibernating bear? My guess is your answer is "NO!"
From what little you may know about bears, you probably have the sense
that they can be a bit cranky if their long winter's nap is
unnecessarily disturbed.
