Might be worth booking a full pedicure, if everything you've tried hasn't worked.

or try a pumice stone when you'rs in the bath, Then scrub dry with a towel, put on loads of intensive moisuriser or a hair conditioning mask. Then put on some socks so that it can work overnight.

The only thing that would temporarily remove it would be a foot blade. You could find it at the beauty supply. However, with working with sharp things... you must be verrry careful because you can end up removing healthy skin and injuring the sole of your foot pretty bad. Not to mention leave your feet open to infections of other sorts... Your best bet is to go to your local podiatrist or the pedicurist. The podiatrist is a foot doctor, and covered by most insurances if you're in CA. I would check with your insurance to see if they cover it. If you're uninsured... well that's a pickel now, isn't it... Most women go to their pedicurist. He or She soaks your feet and, after a few minutes, they come and start cutting away the dead skin with a cutter. The aforementioned device from above. Then they rub your soles with a pumice pad or stone, then with a foot file. They finish it off with lotion and cuticle oil. The plus is that they can even do your nails, if you wish.

I agree with checking your shoes first. Well fitting shoes don't rub your feet and cause callouses.
Soak your feet in a bowl of warm water every night with a drop of baby bath. When the skin has softened, gently pumice all the rough patches.
Then dry your feet and rub in an intensive care hand cream, and try the anti verruca slippers you get for going to the swimming baths! They're like rubber slippers for your feet, they'll give the cream a chance to soak in and stop it going all over your clothes and bedding. Don't leave them on all night or your feet will be too soft.
Do that every night and get some insoles for your shoes, it will only take a couple of weeks to sort it out.

Use one of those foot scraper file things to get the worst of the hardness away then apply Flexitol Heel Balm. That stuff is excellent. Use it a few days and the cracks etc will soon go. Then keep filing and using cream when necessary.

I had a problem with skin so rough and dry that my heels would crack and bleed. Very painful! I started using eucerin cream every morning after my shower, then immediately put on socks to protect my feet. It took awhile, but now my feet look great, even in mid-winter! Eucerin is expensive but a little goes a long way.

R u in the uk? Well if you are the body shop do some really nice foot scrub which I used when I was pregnant as I was struggling to wear my shoes so flip flops made them really dry. It's peppermint stuff and it is fab. Also you can get scholl rough skin removers, they are like blocks of sand paper and they are good too.

The company I work for TBSAH makes some excellent foot soak and foot scrub. They work wonders on rough and callused feet

May not be your shoes, may be the way you walk or your back. If you're in the UK you could go for a podiatry appointment at a Dr Scholl shoe shop which may help. For dry heels the expensive creams (with lots of urea in them) seem to work well, morning and night

try this.
get 2 empty bowls. fill one with your favourite shower gel or cream and the other one with medium-sized granule BROWN sugar(not white cause brown sugar is not bleached). when in the shower mix the shower cream/gel with some brown sugar and put it on your leg and just rub it. it like a kind of body scrub. Remember: after mixing the sugar with the shower gel/cream, use it quickly so that the sugar doesnt dilute in the gel/cream.

you'll get really really smooth skin for days and it'll smell heavenly!

try it! it really works!

moisturise your feet and the put socks on immediately after and wear to bed. In the morning your feet should be silky smooth. With regard to the callus I would visit a pedicurist.
