If you aren't sure after 3 years then this is not the person for you and difficult as it may be ; you should release her. Doubts now will only turn into resentments during the marriage.

When you both know in your hearts that you want to spend the rest of your lives with each other. You are both faithful and honest with each other and can not bare to be apart. When you feel like this about your partner and he/she feels the same way, it is truly time for you to commit to marriage. Don't do it until you both fully understand how the other feels and hopefully you will have a very long and happy marriage. Best of luck to you both.

I'm anti-marriage. Marriage is just waste of time and energy. Why do people loving each other "show commitment" by marrying? Love is love - it does not need some little paper to validate it!

Hmm, what's the difference between a long term relationship and marriage? Are you commited until you die? Do you share your bills? Do you live together and have sex? If yes, you're married and you didn't even know it.

here is a question for you
what is the little paper going to do that will change your life
ANSWER NOTHING
if you are happy why do you need a paper to tell you that in the future you will have to spend 20 thousand dollars to walk away
you don't need to be married to put your love on your checking account or even get them on your insurance at work
you can have a party and invite all your friends and family and put a ring on her finger and tell them you will love and take care of her forever
you don't even need that paper to get her a credit card with the 2 of you on it or even be the beneficiary of your life ins policy
and finaly you don't even need that paper to be happy and in love and by the way she can even take your last name without the paper

Why are you asking us. Ask your partner. Do you feel it's time? Go ask.
