sometimes i cant remember a thing about my dreams

A dream is recalled most easily if we awaken during it or immediately after it ends. If more than a few minutes lapse at the end of a dream, we risk the forgetting of the dream- but if we awaken too soon before the dream stops, we might miss an important part of it.

Its all about the psyche. Our minds, in a weird way, has to process and order things to make sense out of them.

Thats one tool, is our dreams.

But sometimes its bad so our brains kind of block them and make them hard to remember, because our brain knows if we remember them we will be shaken up (sometimes very badly if you have PTSD due to war like me).

I would suggest just let your brain be at peace. Even if you remember a bad dream just think of what your brain is trying to sort out and make sense of.

When you sleep, you have many every night, but experience only the one that is disrupted by your waking up. No one knows why only some dreams stick in your long term memory, but it may depend on the drama or horror involved in the dream, or it may be random.

That's the TRULY scientific answer, unbiased by guesses or religious recruiters. If you wanted that, look at the questions above this.

We almost always don't forget the morning goals, in a while earlier than we get up. Also a few goals are extra coherent and filled with more potent feelings. Most are simply nonsense, so we put out of your mind them. Our brains are very effective, and they are attempting to not lead up with rubbish recollections.
