Probably the same. If not Wal-Mart, some other corporate giant would take over & provide the same services. This is because our country leans towards capitalism - all countries combine capitalism & socialism but becaues ours is primarily capitalist it is most likely that another super-store would show up.

There would be less jobs for people with low skills.... That might encourage people to use their initiative and start their own business. Walmart cause a lot of small companies to go out of business so it would give small companies a chance to make more of themselves. The fact that Walmart buys a lot of foreegn imports means that American producers don't benefit the way they should. However if there was no Wal-mart I'm sure someone would see the gap in the market and start a similar business. If that business sold more American products then it would be good for local business.

Wal Mart is in trouble with several factors going against them including price wars and resignations of higher level staff.
Selling based on price only is not a good model for long term business...and usually never lasts...

Probably be better, wal-mart runs small business's out of business. You should look at price's at wal-mart, then look at another store, and it's cheaper at the other store!
