i'm 18. i'm more knowledgeable than them in some aspects as they are more knowledgeable than me in other aspects. we each have our specialties, so it just depends on the subject in which is being assessed at the time so....no'one is smarter than the other.

I am 33 years old. I don't think I'm smarter than my parents. Every time I show off my so-called intelligence; whether I know something or not; they get extremely angry at me. I remember one time, in 1996, when I was just 22 years old, my father asked me a question about a sign that I have never seen before. I responded, "I don't know," and he told me that I don't know anything. So you see, I am the prime liar and dummy in my family; the only one person in the world that people love to talk about, laugh at, and yell at, because I am one stubborn b**ch.

Better educated, yes (I have a Ph.D.), but smarter no. Even though my Father never learned to read or write (seriously), he was ten times smarter than me. My Mum is the possessor of the craziest logic in the world, but her illogicality usual has a great deal more sense to it than any other alternative.

I'm 46.

Not at everything, but some things. I'm definitely not smarter than my dad, but I can make better choices and understand situations better than my mom.

yeah. totally. my mother only has a GED, and I'm a senior in college. She doesn't read or keep up with news or anything thats going on. I'm 24. And my father, well, he is very smart in what he does, electrical work, brick laying, that type of thing, he has great skill in that area that I could not match. It is hard to compare us because he has a lot of life skills, and street smarts too that are very valuable. I have a good deal of book smarts. He never went to college, but takes numerous classes on his trade(s).

I'm 26 and I don't know about being book smart but I think I have more street smarts. This might sound silly but I've already had more crazy life experiences than them.

Not really.... I am not that smart more than my biological parents nor my biological family. I just try to be smart cuz I know I am not that-that smart. I even never think that I am smart or witty. I just hardly strive to be so.... :)

No, I don't think that I am. They have learned much more in their years than I have. I am 28 years old.
